About 2:22 A Ghost Story - Apollo

Award-winning supernatural thriller 2.22 - A Ghost Story announces a record-breaking 5th West End transfer after hit seasons at the Gielgud, Noel Coward, Criterion and Lyric Theatres. The play will now open at the Apollo Theatre for a limited 18 week season from 14th May 2023 starring Sophia Bush, Jaime Winstone, Clifford Samuel and Ricky Champ.

2:22- A Ghost Story is written by award-winning writer Danny Robins, creator of the hit BBC podcast The Battersea Poltergeist, and is directed by Matthew Dunster. Brilliantly funny and intriguing; 2:22 A Ghost Story is an adrenaline-filled night where secrets emerge and ghosts may or may not appear. What do you believe? And do you dare discover the truth?

Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam isn’t having any of it. They argue with their first dinner guests, old friend Lauren and new partner Ben. Can the dead really walk again? Belief and scepticism clash, but something feels strange and frightening, and that something is getting closer. So they’re going to stay up until 2:22… and then they’ll know.

See it if Was an interesting take on traditional theatre, the use of props, lighting and stage was interesting. Amazing character development, acting

Don’t see it if Not very scary and the humor of the storyline kind of distracted from the setting of the scariness and the tensions building up, audience!

See it if You enjoy a spooky story played out

Don’t see it if You're expecting loads of scares like Woman in Black etc. This has a lot of slow, tense build up

Clever, Great Acting, Intelligent, Riveting, Thought-Provoking

See it if You want to see something different and don't mind a few jump scares also a few bone chilling moments with a big plot twist!

Don’t see it if You don't like Jay from Inbetweeners. His character is very similar so its a little distracting to what he is supposed to be portraying.
