About The Producers

The first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ The Producers has exploded onto the West End stage. Hailed as 'The funniest show in London' (Evening Standard), this outrageous musical has audiences and critics roaring with laughter, declaring it a ★★★★★ ‘masterful comedy – the show we need right now’ (The Times).

Based on the classic cult film, the original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. Teeming with Mel Brooks’ signature humour, The Producers takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an 'equal opportunity offender!'.

Down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock schemes with timid accountant Leo Bloom to create the biggest flop in theatre history - only to have it backfire spectacularly, and with thunderous applause.

Reimagined by Tony Award-winning director Patrick Marber and with triumphant performances from Andy Nyman, Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward, The Producers is officially the West End’s hottest comedy ticket - a riotous, joy-filled hit you can’t afford to miss.
