In Wendy & Peter Pan in London, Wendy leaves behind the safety and comfort of her nursery to confront a world of mystery and enchantment. She comes face-to-face with pirates, mermaids, fairies, and, of course, the Lost Boys. Alongside Peter Pan, the infamous Tinker Bell, and the fearless Tiger Lily, she embarks on a quest to unlock the key to her family's forgotten happiness. Of course, it is not without coming into contact with the formidable Captain Hook. What ensues is a tale that features splendid sword fights, captivating flights, and fairy dust.
With spectacular direction from Jonathan Munby and incredible performances from the cast, this show skillfully navigates themes of love, loss, and what it truly means to grow up.
The RSC originally staged this show to sold-out audiences, and has been noted to be "spectacular" by The Guardian.
In addition to direction by Jonathon Munby, the talented creative team includes sets and costume design by Colin Richmond, sound design by Christopher Shutt, music by Shuhei Kamimura, and lighting by Oliver Fenwick.
The cast boasts incredible talent, including Toby Stephens, Lolita Chakrabarti, Daniel Krikler, Charlotte Mills, and Hannah Saxby. In collaboration with one another, they breathe new life into Hickson's adaptation of this timeless tale.
